We offer security training for teams protecting Churches, Schools and Synagogues at reduced rates. Our tactical range available for you to do your own training if desired.

Long distance shooting. We have ranges from 600 yards to 1.2 miles.
Important Note:
If we smell Marijuana or alcohol on you, you will not beable to shoot and fees will not be refunded. Please do be that person. Safety and enjoyment is our main concern.
1. Mountain Range. $150 min rental for 2 hours up to 3 people. $20/hr/pp after that. Additional people $20 per hour. Childern are welcome if they follow instructions and well behaved. We have firearms for children if asked. If packages are purchased fees and per hour maybe waived. We will supply one handgun per person per range rental. You supply additional ammo.. If you are more than 20 minutes late, a late fee of $100 will be charged. If an hour late, shoot will be cancelled and full fee applies. Please do not be late.
2. Long Distance Sniper Shoot. $795 per person limit 4 people. Plan 6 to 8 hours. Package includes 223 bolt, 308 bolt, 6.5 creedmore bolt, 30-06 semi auto and 50 Cal Bmg (fire conditions may restrict 50 caliber BMG. Ranges from 100 yards to 1.2 miles. Early reservation suggested. You will be transported to the range over rough road using a UTV. You will need water, lunch, gps, compass, back pack for support, Binos and camera.Great for hunting season practice.
3: Private instruction starts at $130 per hour, two hour minimum. (Special until 1 Sept 2022 through 30 October, $130 per hour reduced to $80 per hour. Biden inflation special) Additional family member may be added at $50 per hour two hour minimum. Additional discounts may be allowed. The fee includes firearm of your choice. You provide ammunition.
Private Mountain Range additional information
Private range for up to 5. I you have a good clearance 4 wheel drive we may allow additional people. We do provide transportation. Different shooting locations with different distances. Shooting distances from 3 yards to 1500 yards. We will provide one firearm. Additional are available. The ammo is on you. Bring a lunch , water and a camera. No one else offers a shooting experience like this. Views of Reno, the Sierras and Pryamid Lake from one location. Rate is $600 per group per day (5 hours usage). If additional time is needed or second day is need we do provide a reduce rate. Maximum of 5 people.
Firearms instruction starting at $80/hr.
Includes two firearms. One training firearm and one of your choice. You supply the ammo, the rest is on you. Mountain Range fee is included.
Firearm Comparison Special.
If you do not know the difference between single and double action, striker fire and hammer fire pistols this package is perfect for you. Is a revolver or semiauto better for carry protection? Check our packages out. We can provide you the education necessary for you to make a sound decision. This package for you. It includes all different types of hand held firearms to help you decide 10 pistols in all. Only $295 and we include initial ammo and basic instruction up to 4 hours, eye protection and ear protection, and instruction. Set this up today. Firearm Special
We shoot rain, snow or sunshine. Please keep that in mind when scheduling.
We are Unique. Not your normal Gun Range.
Reno (Nevada) Gun Rental is located in the Reno/ Lake Tahoe area. We have all types of firearms for rent. It is your choice. We are not a walk on pistol/rifle range. Reservations are required. ID and credit card are required when making your reservation. There is a cancelation fee. We can also provide firearms to shoot at any location that is legal and close to you. This includes rifle ranges in the Reno, Lake Tahoe and Northern Nevada area. In addition we offer safety and marksmanship training before you are allowed to operate the gun. We provide metal and non-metal reaction targets and regular paper targets of different types. We can even build you a specific combat course.
We have recreational shooting, target shooting, hand gun shooting, sport shooting and long range precision shooting, firearm self defense as well as combat firearms training. You can bring your own or we will provide, individual pistol, rifle and machine gun rentals.
We use paper targets as well as metal reaction targets. Hear your hits.
Reservations or large groups need to be made in advance. However, in most cases we can accomodate small groups with in a 4 hour notice. Call or text us at 775 741 0735 any time.
Rules: Please know these before you come on the range. We will go over these several times while you are at the range.
1. Finger off the trigger at all times until you are ready to shoot.
2. Firearm is treated as always loaded.
3. Do not point the firearm at anything you do not intend to destroy.
4. Know what is behind the target before you shoot.
5. Do not try to catch a falling firearm
6. Bolts open and mags out when traveling to fireing line
7.Eye and Ear protection must be used at all times.
8. Have fun and learn.
IDs are required at time of reservation and when reporting to the field.
Alcohol and drugs are not allowed on the properties. If someone appears intoxicated, they will not be allowed to participate in range activities.
Convicted Felons and are not permitted to possess any firearm or ammunition under federal law. Possession under federal law means even touching a gun. Please be aware. We do ask and you will sign a form stating so.
